A vintage Seiko mechanical stopwatch, with the reliable calibre 88 movement. The 88 calibre stopwatches were released with six versions of the 8800 movement, A to F. Calibre 88 was configured to run at 18000bph or 36000bph, and with one or two pushers. This 5011 model is an 8800C version in the smaller format case with a single pusher. The 8800C runs at 18000bph, with a 60 seconds/30 minutes dial. The single push button cycles through three functions: start/stop/reset. This is very sturdy, with a firm click to start/stop/rest and a 48mm metal case (excluding crown/ring). The case and crystal are in good condition for the age, with minimal marks or scratches. The stopwatch is fully working.
